Jayde Cobble and Jayci Simms delivered their pygmy goat feeders to the Little Rock Zoo on Wednesday. This project was a collaboration between EAST, Hoxie Agri, and the Little Rock Zoo to solve real-world problems with technology and teamwork in mind. Visit the Little Rock Zoo to check out their pygmy goat feeders in action. A special thank you to Mrs. Cruce for escorting Jayde and Jayci on their trips.


Attention Seniors 2023! Graduation practice is at 10 AM in the Mustang gym on Friday morning, May 12th. Please remember to bring your cap with tassel. After graduation practice, seniors will walk the halls of the elementary school and then have the senior lunch party given by Student Council.

Cara Forrester and Ellery Gillham have been invited to play in the Queens of the Hardwood Volleyball Fundraiser on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. The fundraiser is sponsored by Whole Youth Services (formerly City Youth Ministries) and will be held at Westside High School at 6pm. The cost is $10 per person with children 5 years and under free. Come out and support your Lady Mustangs and the community.


Caroline Christoffersen received 1st Place in the Drawing category in The Arkansas Congressional Art Competition 2023. Congratulations!


Hoxie weight team competed in Hot Springs on Saturday. The team finished 4th in the 3A division and 9th overall. Caden Dougan won the overall 260+ division with a 475 lb. bench and 325 power clean. Congratulations!



Celebrating our teachers and staff at HHS has started for Teacher Appreciation Month!
We are all deeply grateful for the compassion and dedication that our teachers and staff at HHS show to all of our students and to each other. Although it has been a difficult year, our teachers and staff have continued to work hard to ensure students are learning and taken care of. Thank you for your passion to ensure students are cared for at every level - your hard work has not gone unnoticed! Working together makes us all better!
