Mr. Berry’s 7th grade Science classes are studying chemical reaction. They are trying to determine what caused the water supply in a fictional town to turn a reddish-brown color. Today they made observations about 2 different substances. Then they mixed them together and observed changes in the properties of the product that was made. After that they did the same experiment in a Simulator to see how the change happened on the atomic scale.

Freedom of choice
After finishing the unit on Earth, Moon, and Sun, Mr. Berry's 8th grade Science classes designed and built their own original planets. They were given a few guidelines on what they could and could not do, for example, the name of the planet could not already exist real or fictional, it could be any shape they wanted, and it had to have at least one moon.
